Responsibility
- Welcome and engage walk-in customers, contractors, and architects, providing expert guidance on tile selections, finishing materials, and construction supplies.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through proactive upselling, cross-selling, and promotional strategies.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of product specifications, pricing, and inventory to offer accurate recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Process orders, prepare quotes, and manage transactions efficiently using POS systems and CRM tools.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to monitor stock levels, place restock orders, and ensure product availability for high-demand items.
- Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on material durability, installation techniques, and maintenance best practices.
- Build and nurture relationships with local contractors, developers, and interior designers to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Assist in visual merchandising by arranging displays, updating signage, and ensuring the showroom reflects current trends and promotions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail sales, construction materials, or home improvement (preferably in tiles, sanitary ware, or finishing supplies).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse clients, from DIY homeowners to professional contractors.
- Familiarity with construction terminology, material grades, and industry standards (e.g., ceramic vs. porcelain tiles, waterproofing solutions).
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Excel, POS systems) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
