Responsibility
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing expert advice on furniture selection, styles, and features.
- Demonstrate product knowledge by explaining the benefits, materials, and care instructions for various furniture pieces.
- Assist with the assembly and arrangement of furniture displays to showcase products effectively and attract customer interest.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor to enhance the shopping experience.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Participate in promotional events, sales campaigns, and product launches to drive foot traffic and increase sales.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field, preferably in furniture or home goods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to lift and move furniture items (up to 20 kg) and assist with assembly as needed.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail schedules.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and willingness to learn about new products.
- Fluency in English; additional knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
