Note: This role is open to both local and international candidates. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
Responsibility
- Drive sales by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable garment products to meet their preferences.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of our garment inventory, including styles, sizes, fabrics, and pricing, to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive shopping environment by greeting customers, offering assistance, and ensuring a positive in-store experience.
- Process transactions efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash, and manage customer payments with accuracy and professionalism.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive selling techniques, upselling, and cross-selling strategies.
- Assist with visual merchandising, including product displays, promotions, and store layouts, to enhance the aesthetic appeal and drive sales.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring resolution aligns with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain store cleanliness, organization, and stock levels, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product launches to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the garments or fashion industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse customer base in English (fluency required).
- Passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends, styles, and customer preferences in the garment sector.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a positive and customer-focused attitude.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash, processing transactions, and operating POS systems.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and during peak shopping seasons, as required by the retail schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in retail, sales, or fashion is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise (up to 10 kg), and perform physical tasks associated with retail operations.
- Knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or other languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Russian) is advantageous for serving international customers.
