Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with product selection, inquiries, and recommendations.
- Ensure the freshness, quality, and attractive display of all fruit and produce items in accordance with company standards.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit payments.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock products, and report low stock to management to maintain optimal availability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales area to enhance the shopping experience.
- Promote special offers, new products, and loyalty programs to drive sales and customer retention.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service (preferably in food or grocery sectors).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Basic knowledge of fresh produce, fruit varieties, and quality standards is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Proficient in basic math and cash handling; experience with POS systems is advantageous.
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights (up to 15 kg), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Fluent in English (additional fluency in Indonesian or other languages is a bonus).
- Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
