Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and guiding customers through their purchasing journey.
- Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge of gourmet items, offering personalized recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions, handling payments, and issuing receipts with accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store layout, including restocking shelves and ensuring product displays are attractive.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and promptly, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily sales targets and contribute to store promotions or marketing initiatives.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management, including receiving and labeling new shipments.
- Stay updated on new products, trends, and promotions to effectively communicate value to customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service roles (preferably in food or gourmet products).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong numerical and cash-handling abilities with attention to detail.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and retail operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Well-groomed, professional appearance, and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
