As part of our dynamic sales team, you’ll play a pivotal role in onboarding, educating, and supporting merchants to maximize their success with BukuWarung’s EDC (Electronic Data Capture) and digital payment systems. Your work will directly contribute to financial inclusion and the digital transformation of local businesses across Bali’s vibrant economic hubs.

Responsibility

  • Drive the adoption of BukuWarung’s EDC and digital payment solutions among merchants in Bali, focusing on high-potential areas like Canggu, Ubud, and Denpasar.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions for new merchants, ensuring they understand the platform’s features, benefits, and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to merchants to optimize their use of BukuWarung’s tools, improving their business efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve merchant pain points proactively, escalating technical or operational issues to the relevant teams when necessary.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for merchant acquisitions, activations, and transaction volumes.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to organize local campaigns, workshops, or demos to attract and engage potential merchants.
  • Gather merchant feedback and market insights to help refine BukuWarung’s products and sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of merchant interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics in CRM systems.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or merchant success, preferably in fintech, e-commerce, or digital payments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with merchants.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with EDC machines, digital wallets, or POS systems is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English; additional local dialects (e.g., Balinese) are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, etc.) to meet merchants on-site.
  • Basic understanding of SME challenges and the digital economy in Indonesia.
