Responsibility
- Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve and exceed sales targets in high-traffic Bali locations
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales
- Manage daily operations including inventory control, cash handling, and store presentation
- Deliver exceptional customer service that reflects Bali's reputation for hospitality
- Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize product assortment and pricing strategies
- Build strong relationships with local suppliers, tourism partners, and the expat community
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Indonesian retail regulations, and health/safety standards
- Create engaging in-store promotions and events that attract both tourists and local customers
- Monitor competitor activity and implement strategies to maintain competitive advantage
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer products
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 5+ staff
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional Bahasa Indonesia or other languages are a plus
- Experience working in Bali or other international tourist destinations
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of Bali's retail market, tourism industry, and expat community
- Valid work permit for Indonesia (or ability to obtain one)
