Responsibility
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability across assigned stores.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to optimize product assortment and placement.
- Collaborate with buying, marketing, and store operations teams to align merchandising plans with business objectives.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently applied, including planograms, signage, and promotional displays.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess execution, provide feedback, and implement improvements.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders on merchandising performance, KPIs, and actionable recommendations.
- Stay updated on competitor activities and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in merchandising, retail planning, or a similar role within the retail industry.
- Proven track record in data analysis, assortment planning, and space optimization.
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs (e.g., sell-through, GMROI, inventory turnover).
- Proficiency in Excel, merchandising software (e.g., JDA, SAP), and visual merchandising tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with the Bali retail market is a plus.
