Responsibility
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning across all departments
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and manage product displays
- Implement and maintain company standards for visual merchandising and store presentation
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Prepare sales reports, analyze performance metrics, and implement improvement strategies
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and local laws
- Collaborate with head office on marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns
- Manage cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in supermarket or grocery retail
- Proven track record of team leadership and staff development
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Basic computer skills including MS Office and POS systems
- Experience with inventory management and visual merchandising
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle pressure during peak periods
