As a Customer Assistant, you will be the face of Watsons, engaging with customers, providing personalized recommendations, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and advising customers on product selections.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems while handling cash and card payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including stocking shelves and restocking products.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and labeling new merchandise.
- Promote ongoing sales, loyalty programs, and special offers to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and in line with company policies.
- Collaborate with the store team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, including new launches, promotions, and health/beauty trends.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; higher education in business or retail is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not requiredâtraining will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and peak retail periods.
- Basic computer literacy (POS systems, inventory software) is advantageous.
