Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash, card payments, and digital transactions accurately.
- Prepare and serve high-quality pastries, beverages, and other menu items while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring product freshness.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving deliveries, stocking products, and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations, including opening and closing procedures, shift handovers, and team meetings.
- Uphold RT Pastry House’s brand standards and values, representing the company with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we welcome fresh graduates and individuals new to the retail or hospitality industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and multitasking effectively.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays, based on business needs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move items weighing up to 10kg.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, or other local dialects) are a plus.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
