Responsibility
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, assisting shoppers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases.
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash and digital payments while issuing receipts and change.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store layout, including restocking shelves and displays.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or discrepancies to the store manager.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Participate in promotional activities, such as setting up displays or distributing flyers, to drive foot traffic.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Basic math and cash-handling abilities with attention to detail.
- Friendly, approachable, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a professional appearance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 10 kg).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory (training provided).
