Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Scan and bag merchandise efficiently while ensuring pricing and promotions are applied correctly.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Issue receipts, gift cards, and refunds in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Balance the cash register at the start and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing checkout area to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist in inventory management tasks, such as stock replenishment and price tag updates, as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cashier or in a customer-facing retail role (fashion retail is a plus).
- Strong numerical and cash-handling skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
- Basic computer literacy, with experience using POS systems preferred.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
