Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Provide friendly and efficient service, greeting customers and assisting with inquiries.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags and supplies.
- Balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, ensuring financial accuracy.
- Assist in bagging groceries and helping customers carry purchases to their vehicles when needed.
- Monitor inventory levels at the checkout and report low stock to management.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Strong numerical and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial transactions.
- Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn quickly.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a customer-first mindset.
