Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Balance the cash register at the start and end of each shift, ensuring financial accuracy.
- Assist in stock replenishment, shelf organization, and maintaining a clean checkout area.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and welcoming shopping experience.
- Upsell products and promote ongoing sales or loyalty programs when appropriate.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Strong numerical and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with POS systems.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Customer-focused mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift light items (up to 10 kg).
