Responsibility
- Operate POS systems to process cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately and efficiently.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, ensuring financial accuracy.
- Assist customers with product locations, pricing, and promotions to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags and supplies as needed.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
- Uphold Primark’s brand standards by adhering to dress code and grooming policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Strong numerical and cash-handling abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Customer-focused mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
