Responsibility
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries, recommendations, and store navigation.
- Process cash, credit, and digital payments accurately while issuing receipts and handling change.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking promotional materials and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
- Resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and coordinating with the warehouse team for replenishments.
- Promote current sales, loyalty programs, and special offers to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
- Adhere to company policies, including security protocols and loss prevention measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Strong numerical and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet store operational needs.
