Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Provide friendly, efficient service, greeting customers and assisting with inquiries about products or promotions.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and restock merchandise as needed to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and prepare daily sales reports.
- Promote loyalty programs, special offers, and upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving deliveries and checking stock levels.
- Adhere to all company policies, including hygiene, safety, and loss prevention standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Strong numerical and basic math skills for handling transactions and change.
- Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude with a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a standing position for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems (training provided).
