Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Maintain secure and accurate cash handling procedures, including opening/closing registers
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to local and international shoppers
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with patience and diplomacy
- Balance cash drawers and prepare daily financial reports
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding payment processing and security
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, Russian, etc.) are a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10kg
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
