Responsibility
- Source and procure high-quality products from suppliers while negotiating favorable terms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing.
- Analyze market trends and consumer demand to optimize product selection and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align procurement strategies with business goals.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Prepare purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers.
- Assist in forecasting demand and planning seasonal product assortments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, merchandising, or retail buying.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
