Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure checkout area to uphold store standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Balance cash registers at the end of each shift and prepare daily sales reports.
- Assist in stocking merchandise, restocking shelves, and maintaining inventory levels as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to security, safety, and loss prevention.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in retail or customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience as a cashier, retail associate, or in a customer-facing role (experience in electronics retail is advantageous).
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail to handle transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are a strong advantage.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the store schedule.
