Responsibility
- Process customer payments accurately using cash registers, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment systems.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change while maintaining a balanced cash drawer at all times.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Verify pricing, discounts, and promotions to ensure accurate transaction processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area to support operational efficiency.
- Assist customers with inquiries, complaints, or special requests in a courteous manner.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies or issues during peak hours.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security and loss prevention protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Strong numerical and basic arithmetic skills for accurate transaction handling.
