Responsibility
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems and manual methods.
- Handle cash transactions, including payments, refunds, and change, while ensuring full compliance with financial policies.
- Generate and verify invoices, receipts, and sales documentation to maintain precise records.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and offering product recommendations.
- Balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote products, upsell where appropriate, and meet daily targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting low supplies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cashier, Retail Associate, or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and cash handling procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in retail or finance is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet business demands.
- Familiarity with direct selling or retail environments is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
