Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
- Balance the cash register at the start and end of each shift, ensuring all financial records are accurate.
- Assist in restocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and organizing product displays to enhance the shopping experience.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Upsell products and promote ongoing sales or loyalty programs to customers when appropriate.
- Adhere to all company procedures, including security protocols and loss prevention measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Strong numerical and basic math skills for handling transactions and cash reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
- Attention to detail and a high level of integrity when managing financial transactions.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with POS systems and inventory software.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights (up to 10 kg).
