Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Balance the cash register at the start and end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist customers with inquiries, product locations, and promotions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing sales or loyalty programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Strong numerical and basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer operations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift light items (up to 10 kg).
