Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to local and international shoppers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with integrity and accuracy
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide basic information about promotions
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary
- Assist with store opening/closing procedures and basic merchandising tasks
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10kg
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic English proficiency (additional languages are a plus)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
