Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Balance the cash register at the start and end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist in stock replenishment, merchandising, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
- Upsell products or promotions when appropriate to enhance sales.
- Adhere to all company procedures, including security and loss prevention protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Excellent numerical and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers professionally.
