Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting guests warmly and offering personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Educate customers about Cacao Social’s premium chocolate products, including origins, flavors, and pairing suggestions.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit payments with integrity.
- Maintain a visually appealing store layout, including restocking shelves, rotating displays, and ensuring product freshness.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels, reporting low inventory, and receiving shipments.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and in alignment with company policies.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily sales targets and participate in promotional events or tastings.
- Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the store, including the retail space and storage areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Passion for food, chocolate, or luxury products with a willingness to learn about premium cacao.
- Strong sales and upselling abilities, with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
- Basic math and POS system proficiency for accurate transaction handling.
- Team player with a positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Bali’s tourism industry or local market trends is advantageous.
