Whether youâre assisting with visual merchandising, processing transactions, or resolving customer inquiries, your role is pivotal in shaping the in-store experience.
Responsibility
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Greet, assist, and engage customers with a professional and friendly demeanor, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
- Drive Sales & Achieve Targets: Proactively recommend products, upsell complementary items, and meet individual/team sales goals.
- Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of Bath & Body Worksâ product lines, including fragrances, skincare, and seasonal collections, to provide accurate and persuasive recommendations.
- Cash Handling & Transactions: Process payments, handle returns, and manage POS systems with precision and efficiency.
- Visual Merchandising: Assist in maintaining store presentation, including stocking, rearranging displays, and ensuring products are visually appealing.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, report low inventory, and participate in stock takes to ensure product availability.
- Resolve Customer Concerns: Address complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to achieve store objectives, share best practices, and contribute to a positive work culture.
Qualifications
- Proven Retail Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in beauty, cosmetics, or luxury retail.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Fluent in English (additional languages, e.g., Mandarin or Indonesian, are a plus) with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Sales-Oriented Mindset: Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and a passion for driving revenue.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with beauty/fragrance products or willingness to undergo training to become a brand expert.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to build rapport, anticipate needs, and create personalized shopping experiences.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using POS systems, inventory tools, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexibility: Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak retail hours in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional Appearance: Adherence to company grooming standards and a polished, approachable demeanor.
