As a Retail Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and maintaining store operations. Responsibility
- Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping environment.
- Process transactions efficiently using POS systems, including handling cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock products, and report discrepancies to the store management team.
- Provide product knowledge and demonstrations to customers, highlighting features and benefits of MR.DIY’s home improvement solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and contribute to store performance goals.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Participate in store promotions, events, and training sessions to stay updated on products and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are an advantage.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 10 kg, and move merchandise as needed.
- Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
