Responsibility
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash accurately.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking shelves and monitoring product levels.
- Educate customers on pet care products, nutrition, and accessories.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Participate in promotional events and sales initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail or animal care is a plus.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for animals and pet care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
