Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and advising customers on outdoor gear and apparel.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, including features, benefits, and proper usage.
- Assist customers in selecting the right equipment for their specific outdoor activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail environment.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and courteously.
- Stay updated on new product arrivals, promotions, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall shopping experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail or customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Passion for outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, or adventure sports.
- Basic knowledge of outdoor gear and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
