Responsibility
- Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases in a professional and friendly manner.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash/credit payments accurately.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
- Restock shelves, monitor inventory levels, and report low stock to the management team.
- Provide information about products, promotions, and pharmacy services to customers.
- Handle customer complaints or issues and escalate to supervisors when necessary.
- Assist in receiving and unpacking new inventory, and ensure proper storage.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM/O-Level or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or pharmacy environments is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Basic numeracy and cash handling skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management is a plus.
- A positive attitude, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
