Responsibility
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service at checkout counters, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate POS systems accurately, handling cash, credit, and digital payments while maintaining transaction records.
- Assist customers with inquiries, product locations, and promotions, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking shelves and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations, including opening/closing procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels at the front end and report discrepancies to management.
- Uphold safety and hygiene standards in compliance with supermarket guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Strong numerical and cash-handling abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak hours.
