Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and addressing inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Operate cash registers accurately, process transactions (cash, credit, and digital payments), and issue receipts.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags, supplies, and promotional materials.
- Assist in shelf stocking, inventory management, and ensuring products are neatly displayed and priced correctly.
- Handle customer complaints or issues diplomatically and escalate to management when necessary.
- Monitor and report low stock levels or damaged goods to the supervisor.
- Adhere to company policies on hygiene, safety, and loss prevention.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are advantageous).
- Strong numerical and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move items up to 10-15 kg.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy (POS systems, scanners, etc.).
- A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
