Responsibility
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to Banyan Tree’s service standards.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including food, beverages, and supplies, while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu offerings align with guest expectations and seasonal availability.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and hygiene protocols in compliance with local regulations and brand standards.
- Conduct regular staff training to enhance service skills, product knowledge, and upselling techniques.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to optimize restaurant profitability.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or luxury resorts.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including POS systems, inventory management, and cost control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene (e.g., HACCP) is highly desirable.
- Passion for delivering exceptional service with a guest-centric approach.
- Familiarity with luxury hospitality brands and their service standards is an advantage.
