Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with professionalism and courtesy.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted and communicated to the kitchen.
- Deliver orders promptly and present dishes with attention to detail, enhancing the dining experience.
- Provide attentive and personalized service, anticipating guests' needs and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, replenishing utensils, and assisting with side duties as needed.
- Handle payments accurately and efficiently, including processing cash and card transactions.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and contribute to restaurant revenue.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a fine dining or upscale restaurant (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings, as well as menu descriptions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurantās operating hours.
- Well-groomed appearance with adherence to the restaurantās dress code and hygiene standards.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
