Responsibility
- Ensure all dining areas, kitchens, and service stations are clean, sanitized, and well-organized at all times.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, and dining equipment for service.
- Support the waitstaff by replenishing supplies, such as napkins, condiments, and utensils.
- Handle dishwashing, polishing silverware, and maintaining clean glassware to meet hygiene standards.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock (FIFO).
- Monitor and report any maintenance or cleanliness issues to the management team.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a steward or similar role in hospitality is a plus.
- Strong work ethic with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and carry items (up to 15-20 kg) for extended periods.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and hygiene standards is advantageous.
