Responsibility
- Lead and manage the engineering team, ensuring all maintenance and repair tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of resort infrastructure.
- Oversee all technical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Collaborate with resort management to plan and execute capital improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Implement sustainable engineering practices to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
- Mentor and train engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale maintenance and renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems in a resort or hotel setting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and energy-efficient technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
