Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of baristas, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to company standards.
- Train new baristas on coffee preparation techniques, equipment usage, and customer service best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for coffee beans and supplies, and maintain cost control.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for coffee preparation and service.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the coffee preparation area.
- Collaborate with management to introduce new coffee blends, seasonal specials, and promotional events.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any service-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the coffee industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment, and specialty coffee trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and customer interaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and cost control principles.
- Certification in barista training or coffee-related courses is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
