Responsibility
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management to ensure smooth service.
- Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff to uphold high standards of service and food quality.
- Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and performance metrics to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance, including cost control, budgeting, and revenue targets, while identifying opportunities for growth.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as local labor laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain the authenticity and consistency of Chinese dishes, aligning with brand standards.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer preferences to drive innovation and improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in Chinese or Asian cuisine.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a multicultural team.
- Strong understanding of restaurant P&L, cost control, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Mandarin or Indonesian is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with POS systems, reservation platforms, and basic financial reporting.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP) and local health regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a high-pressure environment.
