Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists with efficiency and discretion.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely table turnover and guest satisfaction.
- Provide personalized recommendations for dining, beverages, and special experiences based on guest preferences.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with diplomacy and a solution-oriented approach.
- Maintain a polished appearance and adhere to Kimpton’s service standards and grooming policies.
- Assist in organizing and executing private events, VIP visits, and promotional activities.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and inviting reception area at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or in a guest-facing role within luxury hospitality.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage diverse guests.
- Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail in high-pressure environments.
- Professional demeanor, poise, and a passion for delivering five-star service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, SevenRooms) is advantageous.
- Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
