Responsibility

  • Lead and manage a specific culinary station (e.g., sauces, pastries, grills, or garde manger) with precision and efficiency.
  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to standardized recipes and plating guidelines.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and ensure minimal waste while maintaining cost control.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards in all kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop seasonal menus and special culinary offerings.
  • Ensure timely preparation and service during peak hours, upholding consistency and excellence in every dish.
  • Contribute to kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment maintenance to support a smooth workflow.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within fine dining, luxury resorts, or high-volume kitchens.
  • Culinary diploma or degree from a recognized institution (e.g., Le Cordon Bleu, CIA) is a plus.
  • Proven expertise in a specific station (e.g., pastry, butchery, hot line) with a portfolio of creative dishes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team under pressure.
  • Knowledge of international cuisines, with a focus on Asian or Western fine dining techniques.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, food safety regulations, and allergy-aware cooking practices.
