Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigerators, and dishwashers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in a timely manner.
- Inspect and maintain HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Conduct regular checks on backup generators and ensure they are operational during power outages.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Provide emergency maintenance support during off-hours as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
- Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read technical manuals and interpret blueprints or schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to handle manual tasks and work in various conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Certification in a relevant technical field is a plus.
