Responsibility
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and special orders with consistency and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking ingredient levels and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and high-quality food preparation during peak service hours.
- Follow all kitchen policies, procedures, and plating guidelines to uphold brand standards.
- Monitor food temperatures and storage practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support the sous chef and executive chef in menu development and special event preparations.
- Uphold a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a high-volume kitchen or luxury hospitality setting.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment operation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Passion for creating exceptional dishes with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg.
