Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and special orders with consistency and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist in inventory management, including tracking ingredient levels and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and high-quality food preparation during peak service hours.
  • Follow all kitchen policies, procedures, and plating guidelines to uphold brand standards.
  • Monitor food temperatures and storage practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Support the sous chef and executive chef in menu development and special event preparations.
  • Uphold a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a high-volume kitchen or luxury hospitality setting.
  • Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment operation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Passion for creating exceptional dishes with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg.
