Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and excellence in every cup.
- Master latte art and other creative techniques to enhance the visual appeal of beverages and delight customers.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, including opening/closing duties and restocking supplies.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage, handling, and preparation of ingredients.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and industry best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar role within a café, coffee shop, or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and espresso extraction techniques.
- Proficiency in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain composure during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, French, German) are a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as required.
