Responsibility

  • Process customer payments accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
  • Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with order inquiries or special requests.
  • Manage opening and closing cashier procedures, including cash reconciliation and daily sales reports.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked cashier station with supplies (receipts, menus, etc.).
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Assist with reservation management and waitlist coordination during peak hours.
  • Uphold hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with restaurant policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cashier or in a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate transaction handling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Basic computer literacy, with experience using POS systems preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is advantageous.
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
