Responsibility
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including waitstaff, hosts, and bussers, to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Greet and engage guests with warmth and professionalism, anticipating their needs and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Oversee table reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimize service efficiency.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and diplomatically, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Train and mentor team members on service standards, menu knowledge, and upselling techniques.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels for dining essentials (e.g., linens, glassware) and coordinate with management for replenishment.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry (fine dining or luxury resorts preferred).
- Proven track record in guest relations and conflict resolution with a customer-centric approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage high-volume dining periods.
- Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software (e.g., OpenTable, Toast).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
