As a Resident Engineer, you will oversee the execution of critical water supply, drainage, and sanitation projects, ensuring they meet technical, environmental, and regulatory standards. Responsibility
- Oversee and manage on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed reports on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Review and approve technical drawings, methodologies, and material submissions to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and minimize delays.
- Resolve technical and logistical challenges on-site, providing innovative solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability best practices in all project phases.
- Liaise with government agencies, clients, and community representatives to address concerns and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in water infrastructure, civil construction, or project management, with at least 2 years in a resident engineer or site supervision role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, hydrology, and water treatment systems.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, AutoCAD, MS Project) and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Badung, Bali and work on a contract basis.
