Responsibility
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of mall equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all systems are functioning optimally and safely.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repairs, installations, and upgrades as needed.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies related to facility operations.
- Collaborate with mall management and other departments to support events, renovations, and special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management, building maintenance, or a similar role, preferably in a commercial or retail environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, with hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
- Certification in facility management or related fields is a plus.
